Town of Rockvale Colorado

The Rockey

Issue 10.14          A ROCKVALE, COLORADO NEWSLETTER        October, 2014

__________________________________________________________

VISIT WITH THE MAYOR, ONE ON ONE, MONDAY, OCTOBER 6TH, 2014, FROM  6:30 TO 8:00 P.M.  156 ROCKAFELLOW STREET.

THE MAYOR’S CORNER

Those of you who attended know we had a great 2nd Annual Car Show and Craft Sale on Saturday, September 27th. It was bigger than last year and should be even bigger next year.  Those of you who missed it missed a good time.  The Rockvale Community Club provided excellent refreshments for the event.

Your Board of Trustee members declined to become a member of the Fremont Economic Development Corporation and have a say in business and housing development in Eastern Fremont County.

The Board of Trustees also decided that they will take over the duties of the Water Conservation Board and The Planning and Zoning Board. These two boards are advisory boards to the Town Board of Trustees.  We cannot find enough residents of Rockvale who are interested enough about what is going on in Rockvale to volunteer for the Boards.

The fire ban is still off.
