The Rockey
MAY 2013
MAYOR’S CORNER
Ron
Woodring, Town Administrator, and your Mayer, Delbert Lennie, attended the State of Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency
management, Incident Command overview for Executives and Elected Officials this month.
We also received training on the Emergency Reverse
Notification System. Our goal is to have all phone numbers entered into this system by May 31st. We will set the system
up so we can isolate notification calls to specific areas or town wide. If you have not done so, register your land line and
cell phone numbers with the Town Hall. If you want to be on the county wide emergency notification system you must register
your phone numbers at fremontco.com.
REMINDER: Public forums on ballot issue items on Tuesday, August 6th at 7:00P.M., Sunday, September
15th at 3:30P.M., and Wednesday, October 30th, at 7P.M. at the Community Building, 156 Rockafellow Street. Please do not jump
to conclusions until you hear the facts.
The Contract has been signed for architectural services for our New Town Hall. Our first payment from the grant has been forwarded. We are moving along one step at a time.
